Had an absolutely cracking time this weekend at the Caley Carnage doubles event which took place at the incomparable Common Ground Games in Stirling. Rich and I teamed up with his Empire and my Dwarfs and couldn't have asked for a better weekend. The pack was fun and the tournament well run by Ryan and Trev and we had 10 great opponents.
Rich and I were delighted to eventually take out the tournament, though we needed to take 30/30 TPs on day 2 to sneak ahead of the lovely Whitehead boys. That's our second team tourney win, and since a singles podium still eludes me maybe, I'll just stick to team tournies! Team tournies are great in my short experience and winning alongside your mate(s) just makes it all the sweeter.

However, it didn't end there as Rich and I also managed to take out Best Painted as well which we were chuffed to bits about. If I'm honest, going in I had worried that Rich's army might drag us down a bit
. 
Thanks everyone who voted for us, it's pleasing to get recognition for all of the hard hours we put in, and, seriously, it was a real pleasure playing next to Rich's beautiful Empire army all weekend and riding his coattails to victory!
