April 2022… saw inflation reestablish itself as the number one issue, as the war in Ukraine starts to turn into a devastating stalemate. Investors ran to safe havens, where few could be found as the month became one of the must brutal for stocks everywhere, unless it was the energy (oil) sector.
With that lets see how Games Workshop stock performed for the month of April 2022.
Games Workshop stock tried to recover for the most of the month, but still ended up down over 6%. Plugging that into the year to date and you can see just how bad things are currently for the stock.
Games Workshop shares are not at all time lows for the year, but are dangerously close and May doesn’t look that rosy either. We also have the half year report looming, which could spell doom for a stock darling of almost the last 10 years.
