Too Many Events so much Balance?: Warhammer 40k Tournament Results

Over the past weekend, 12 large Warhammer 40K events took place, with a minimum of 26 players participating in each event. The process of determining the top three players is based on their win records and total battle points, rather than the strength of their schedule. Throughout the weekend, a total of 36 Warhammer 40K 10th edition lists were featured, representing 18 distinct factions. The events just keep on coming, from big to small, and every week we witness a different army rise and fall. This past week, Chaos Daemons made a run for the top spot, along with Aeldari making a brief return. No faction is dominating the meta, which is a great thing, and for the most part, every faction outside of Genestealers Cults and certain types of Space Marines have a chance at winning an event.

Besides the great diversity of armies, we are also witnessing a slight decline in the usage of allies for the factions that can use them. Part of it might be Chaos Space Marines not appearing as frequently as before, but even within the Imperial factions, we are noticing a shift away from the typical addition of Assassins as a plug-and-play options.
